Overview

KITBASH is a conference for hobbyists, first and foremost. People interested in the hobby of building, designing and customizing Gunpla model kits will feel right at home. The conference is open to all ages and features three celebrity guest speaker panels and three workshops that cover all there is to know on Gunpla and similar model kits.

Approach

Starting off with a logo, series of posters, moving on to touchpoints and finally more branding, KITBASH needs a strong sense of identity. The branding takes some inspiration from vintage Gundam movie posters, boxes and ads. The colors used are also inspired by the colors in some of the vintage model’s plastic pieces. The event’s styles and looks evoke feelings of nostalgia, wonder and excitement, which should keep attendance high and attendees happy.
